The Maintenance Tech III diagnoses and repairs malfunctioning electrical infrastructure apparatus such as transformers, breakers, and Motor Control Centers (MCCs). This role involves sizing and installing power supply wiring and conduit, connecting power supply wires to machinery, and integrating control and communication cables. The technician will work with Variable Frequency drives and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), troubleshoot machinery and controllers, and perform preventive maintenance tasks. Responsibilities also include repairing or replacing faulty electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, as well as performing minor electrical repairs on air conditioning units. The position requires flexibility to work unscheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet production demands and assist with general plant repairs.
