About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will serve as a skilled technical leader supporting the Director of Engineering in the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operations, safety compliance, and equipment reliability. You will play a key role in preventative maintenance efforts, rapid response repairs, and maintaining a clean and compliant working environment across the resort.

Requirements

  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school OR Three to six months of related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance practices, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and respond effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of building systems and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and facility infrastructure.
  • Perform scheduled inspections, servicing, calibration, and preventative maintenance to optimize system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Ensure all work complies with insurance requirements and local, county, state, and federal codes and regulations. Follow MSDS and NFPA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, prioritizing urgent repairs while delivering excellent internal and guest service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and materials required.
  • Assist with renovations, capital projects, equipment installations, and property improvements as assigned.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with leadership and operational departments regarding system status, repairs, and preventative needs.
  • Monitor tools, parts, and supply levels and submit purchase requisitions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Support and guide junior technicians when needed, promoting best practices, safety compliance, and skill development.
