Requirements

Actively performing job duties as required in Maintenance Technician position
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping presses
Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics
Perform preventative maintenance
Assesses and prioritizes work requests and ensures material required for the work is available
Follows up on work orders to ensure job specifications (quality and quantity) and time lines are met
Coordinate regular preventative maintenance on daily equipment and facility
Communicate with Manufacturing Supervisor’s throughout the shift to understand prioritization of Maintenance calls throughout the shift
Understand strengths of each Maintenance team member to be able to adequately assign team members to Maintenance calls
Monitor team members progress throughout the shift
Ensure all employees are working together in an effective and cooperative manner to complete job requirements as quickly and completely as possible per work instructions and standard work
Main contact for escalation of Maintenance concerns to Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager and/or General Manager
Perform pass down meeting with next shift and daily report to Maintenance Manager
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Ensure the application of all Flex-N-Gate’s safety policies and procedures
Provide necessary training and instruction to others
Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude throughout the workday
Assist with completing reports for all safety issues, work place injuries and environmental incidents immediately upon notification
