About The Position

Reporting to the Manager Warehouse, you will lead a group of warehouse associates in executing daily warehousing tasks including material handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory control. You will ensure team members follow established procedures and safety guidelines, maintain accurate records using Warehouse Management Systems and SAP, and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Coordinate warehousing operations and production needs to support plant goals. Maintain timely loading, unloading, and scheduling of materials and finished product to meet plant and corporate objectives. Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficient handling of raw materials and customer orders. Establish and maintain warehousing rotation and hold programs. Conduct periodic audits of inventory to confirm accuracy and identify obsolete product. Enforce the plant’s safety program, including Good Manufacturing Practices. Monitor the warehousing area and team members to eliminate work hazards and unsafe practices. Monitor equipment, submit work orders for repairs, and recommend changes that support safe operation. Train individuals on safety procedures, including forklift and hand jack use, loading procedures, and trailer operation. Train, motivate, and monitor warehousing team members, recognizing strong performance and addressing issues when needed. Drive initiatives that reduce cost through labor controls, damage reduction, and implementation of new methods and tools that improve productivity. Backup team positions when needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; four‑year college degree preferred.
  • Experience with Excel, intermediate level, and SAP.
  • Ability to drive forklifts – both stand-up and sit down (experience with both preferred).
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, or warehousing.
  • Experience with managing multiple priorities and leading others.
