About The Position

Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This position oversees maintenance operations across our campus, including Emmanuel Nursing Center, Maria Joseph Manor, Nazareth, and The Meadows. The Maintenance Supervisor assists in planning, directing, and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance programs while supporting the overall mission and values of our organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Maintenance experience
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general maintenance systems
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance department operations
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
• Assign and oversee maintenance projects and repairs
• Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets established standards
• Assist with campus safety, fire, and security operations
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance repairs
• Maintain department records, reports, and documentation
• Assist with budget planning and equipment procurement
• Coordinate snow removal and grounds maintenance
• Support environmental services and housekeeping operations as needed
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff
• Assist with transportation services when necessary
