About The Position

We are looking for an experienced MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to join our Frankfort, IN plant. This is a full-time salaried position Monday to Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). You will provide leadership to mechanics on multiple shifts. You also will work closely with all departments in the facility, including Manufacturing, Shipping, Warehousing, Receiving, Maintenance, etc. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of plant equipment and developing methods to enhance or upgrade the manufacturing processes to eliminate waste, reduce cost and improve overall production productivity. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance in your career with Custom Building Products.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience managing employees in a multi-shift plant environment.
  • Experience with Robotics
  • Experience with PLC
  • Experience with Electrical
  • Experience with Hydraulic & fluid power experience
  • Experience with Troubleshooting through PLC software (preferably Allen Bradley)
  • Experience with Reading/interpreting schematics and blueprints
  • Experience with Automatic bag filling equipment
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow up.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills and the ability to influence and motivate others are a must.
  • Safety-minded with thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and of related safety practices.
  • Remarkable sense of urgency.
  • Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
  • Ability to understand technical service manuals and maintain basic records for repair work done.
  • PLC practical experience and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  • Ability to operate personal computer and knowledge of basic computer applications, including computer generated parts and service manuals.
  • Maintain a current state Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must be able to work various hours, on-call duties when necessary.

  • A Bachelors degree is desired.
