About The Position

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Sequel + the Foundry. The role maintains the property in high-quality condition, delivers excellent customer service, supervises move-in preparation, and operates within the approved budget. Hours vary according to community needs and may include weekends and after-hours emergency services.

Requirements

Hands-on working knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks.
Leadership skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers and residents.
Basic knowledge of HVAC.
Must become CFC certified within 90 days of employment.
One year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor with a professional management firm, or three years as a Maintenance Technician.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Assist the Community Manager with hiring, inspecting, counseling, promoting, staffing, and, when needed, terminating employees, as directed by the Regional Manager.
Teach skills to staff members and schedule work.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure common areas are safe, in good repair, and clean.
Perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, building exteriors, and other areas.
Make recommendations for capital improvements.
Respond to all service requests within 24 hours.
Visit competing properties and inspect maintenance quality.
Order parts as needed to repair the community.
Continually educate staff about safe working conditions and stay informed about work safety issues, including OSHA guidelines and Peak Living safe working conditions bulletins.
