Senior Maintenance Supervisor - Sequel + the Foundry
About The Position
Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Sequel + the Foundry. The supervisor maintains the property in high-quality condition, provides excellent customer service, oversees preparation for move-ins, and operates within the approved budget. Typical work hours depend on community needs and may include weekends and after-hours emergency services. The position offers a $750 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Hands-on working knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks.
- Leadership skills and ability to deal effectively with customers and residents.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC.
- Must become CFC certified within 90 days of employment.
- One year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor with a professional management firm, or three years as a Maintenance Technician.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Community Manager with hiring, inspecting, counseling, promoting, and, if needed, terminating employees; staffing levels are directed by the Regional Manager.
- Teach skills to staff members.
- Schedule work.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure common areas are safe, in good repair, and clean.
- Perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, building exteriors, and other areas.
- Make capital improvement recommendations.
- Respond to all service requests within 24 hours.
- Visit competing properties and inspect the quality of their maintenance.
- Order parts as needed to repair the community.
- Continually educate staff on safe working conditions and stay informed about work safety issues, including OSHA guidelines and Peak Living safe working conditions bulletins.
- Supervise preparation of move-ins and operate within the approved budget.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain the property in high-quality condition.
