This is an active, independent role requiring building maintenance knowledge, people skills, and computer proficiency. The position involves vendor management, tenant interaction, completing work requests, unit turnovers, coding invoices, managing capital projects, and reporting to property owners in collaboration with the Property Manager. The role requires on-call responsibility and the use of Outlook email and calendar. Candidates should live within a 45-minute commute of the Middlebury, VT area. Requirements

Maintenance/handyman skills.
Building systems knowledge including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to work with people and communicate with the management team.
Some computer and smart phone skills.
Using Outlook email and calendar required.
Must live no further than 45 min from Middlebury, VT area.
Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance for 71 apartments across 3 properties.
Work with the Property Manager on a day-to-day basis.
Manage and oversee vendors.
Interact with tenants.
Complete work requests, including basic handyman work.
Handle unit turnovers.
Code invoices.
Manage capital projects.
Work with the Property Manager to send reports and information to property owners.
Be on-call.
