About The Position

In this hands-on, high-energy role, you will assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing maintenance activities, leading and developing a team of technicians, and ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Your leadership will help optimize plant performance, reduce downtime, and uphold standards of safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Proven supervising or management experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment, minimum of two (2) years preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks involving schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Demonstrated electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems; proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters is essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage projects effectively, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Ability to interpret schematics accurately; strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and industrial systems.
  • Stand, bend, stretch for hours at a time and lift finished products overhead.
  • Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds if necessary.
  • Read and comprehend written instructions and ensure instructions are met and achieved upon review of completed project.
  • Ability to communicate in professional tone and manner in both verbal and written means.
  • Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency
  • Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Plastic Injection Molding experience preferred.
  • Trade School Certification, High School Degree, or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine maintenance, the repair of and/or moving of heavy machinery within the production environment.
  • Repairs and/or installs electrical lines on production equipment, machinery, or physical facility.
  • Performs general and preventative maintenance plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems preferred.
  • Supports Maintenance Manager in leading and supervising maintenance team to execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across all plant equipment and systems.
  • Performs leadership/management responsibilities in the absence of the Maintenance Manager
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness among team members through training sessions and regular safety audits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
