About The Position

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for driving equipment reliability and overall maintenance performance at our Spartanburg manufacturing site. This role leads a team of skilled Maintenance Technicians while partnering closely with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver world-class safety, quality, and operational performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for developing high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, reducing downtime, and ensuring maintenance processes are executed with discipline and consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably within food or beverage production.
  • Experience leading teams of 10 or more employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Experience working with vendors and consultants to improve manufacturing performance and support operational objectives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems such as SAP, MES, InfinityQS, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and manufacturing performance metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with material batching systems and CIP/COP processes.
  • Experience in highly automated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of TPM and Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a culture focused on achieving zero injuries.
  • Conduct safety observations, audits, and training while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
  • Ensure completion of all required regulatory and safety training.
  • Deliver best-in-class performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
  • Drive equipment reliability through preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance programs.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, and Warehouse teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to eliminate recurring issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Support and sustain TPM, standardized work, layered process audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain a highly engaged team of 10+ Maintenance Technicians.
  • Provide leadership support through maintenance planning meetings, business unit reviews, leadership meetings, and employee communication forums.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable work environment.
