About The Position

KMG Prestige is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to serve multiple apartment communities in Hudsonville, Whitehall, and Hastings, Michigan. The role oversees Maintenance Technicians and helps ensure residents receive superior customer service and live in well-maintained properties. The supervisor coordinates timely work-order completion, vendors, supply ordering, apartment turns, service requests, and overall community maintenance. The position includes participation in an emergency on-call rotation.

Requirements

• HVAC knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Background in plumbing, electrical work, and drywall.
• Appliance repair skills.
• Experience with apartment turns.
• Ability to contact and negotiate with vendors.
• Knowledge of residential repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and other equipment.
• Organizational skills.
• Availability for an emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Maintenance Technicians.
• Ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Work with vendors, including contacting and negotiating with them.
• Order supplies.
• Oversee apartment turns.
• Handle service requests and the overall maintenance of the apartment community.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
• Provide superior customer service and help create happy residents.
