About The Position

KMG Prestige is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across apartment communities in Hudsonville, Whitehall, and Hastings, Michigan. The role is suited to someone who enjoys new challenges, is driven, and leads by example. The successful candidate will help create happy residents by providing superior customer service and maintaining the properties.

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees a team of Maintenance Technicians and ensures work orders are completed promptly. Responsibilities also include working with vendors, ordering supplies, apartment turns, service requests, and the overall maintenance of the apartment communities. The position participates in an emergency on-call rotation.

Requirements

• HVAC knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Background in plumbing, electrical work, and drywall.
• Appliance repair skills.
• Experience with apartment turns.
• Ability to contact and negotiate with vendors.
• Knowledge of residential repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and more.
• Organizational skills.
• Availability for emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities
