About The Position

They are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Maintenance Supervisor for their Operations Department at the Delta, OH facility.

Requirements

Understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and other basic building skills.
General knowledge of tools and work supplies.
Ability to embrace challenges with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Skills in delegating, negotiating, conflict management, stress tolerance, planning and organizing, leadership, listening, time management, and follow-up.
Attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and ability to adapt to programs like ConnectWise.
Respectful, positive attitude, flexible, accountable, honest, patient, and dependable.
Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish (strong asset).

Responsibilities

Organize jobs (repairs, installations, regular maintenance, new build, etc.) and work orders using ConnectWise, allocating them to appropriate maintenance employees and creating plans as needed.
Follow up on completed jobs to ensure they are done correctly, and that work orders are filled out and closed.
Ensure the tool crib is adequately stocked.
Order required parts/supplies, check orders for accuracy upon arrival, and move supplies/parts to the appropriate phase.
Request/arrange quotes and permits for outside work (e.g., electrical, building), plan the job, and communicate with contractors, managing these relationships.
Assist maintenance employees with jobs if required.
Examine and test machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning.
Ensure emergency or priority work orders are completed in a timely manner.
Motivate and encourage workers, communicating as necessary.
Ensure maintenance employees are aware of and follow all company policies and job descriptions, administering discipline when necessary and reporting incidents/absences to HR or Health & Safety.
Participate in the interview and hiring process.
Remain actively involved in employee hands-on training and follow-up to ensure work is done efficiently and correctly, requiring ongoing training and development.
Review the employee labor tracking system and notify employees of improper job/hour logging.
Deal with difficult situations confidently, utilizing provided policies and procedures, and consulting with a manager if issues persist.
Comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.
Perform other activities as required, even if not explicitly listed in the job description.
