About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring a full-time, on-site Maintenance Supervisor for Park Commons Apartments, a 174-unit multifamily community in Valley Park, Missouri. The role leads and supports the maintenance team and handles property maintenance, repairs, and apartment unit turns. The position pays $24.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience, with bonus opportunities. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to perform job duties during the interview process. Employment is subject to pre-employment criminal background and drug screenings.

Requirements

At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
HVAC/EPA certifications are required.
Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to handle plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry repairs.
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
Ability to complete the job duties, demonstrated during the interview process.
Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background and drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
CPO Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the maintenance team.
Complete service requests and work orders.
Oversee apartment make-readies and unit turns.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry repairs.
Assist with painting and general property upkeep.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
Work with the Property Manager on maintenance planning and budgeting.
Participate in an on-call rotation, approximately one week every four weeks.
