The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all safety, environmental, and quality policies and practices are understood and adhered to by all employees and contractors. This role involves providing day-to-day supervision of maintenance personnel, assigning work for preventive maintenance and equipment repair, and managing the ordering of necessary repair materials and spare parts. The supervisor will analyze equipment failures to prevent future problems, assist with plant infrastructure upgrades, and contribute to capital expenditure planning by providing input on equipment history and recommending upgrades. Additionally, the role requires reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications, establishing and enforcing high standards of housekeeping, and training department personnel. A key responsibility is performing root cause analysis to identify failures and implement corrective actions, ensuring that facilities, equipment, and control systems are maintained for safe, cost-effective, and quality production.
