About The Position
Brookside is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support its small apartment communities in Middle Tennessee. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various building systems, completing unit turns, and performing exterior and grounds maintenance. The supervisor will also travel to properties to provide hands-on support and resolve complex maintenance issues, while guiding and supporting on-site teams and ensuring safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience
- Strong HVAC skills with EPA Type II or Universal certification required
- Well-rounded knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pools a plus)
- Availability for after-hours calls
- Reliable transportation and basic tools
- Strong communication skills with residents, staff, and vendors
Nice To Haves
- USDA housing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall/painting, and more
- Complete unit turns, exterior, and grounds maintenance
- Travel to properties to provide hands-on support and resolve complex maintenance issues
- Guide and support on-site teams while ensuring safety and quality standards
