Requirements

  • Experience in maintenance operations.
  • Ability to oversee, schedule, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Proficiency in light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
  • Experience with routine inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Skills in training and mentoring staff.
  • Ability to maintain an elevated level of customer service.
  • Experience working with contractors.
  • Ability to maintain inventory and work within a budget.
  • Experience scheduling and supervising maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to ensure the quality of work performed.
  • Familiarity with updating mobile apps (Yardi mobile app mentioned) and team communication regarding project status.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing, scheduling, and performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
  • Overseeing completion of work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Training and mentoring staff.
  • Maintaining an elevated level of customer service for our residents.
  • Working with contractors as needed.
  • Maintaining inventory and working within a budget.
  • Scheduling and supervising maintenance personnel.
  • Ensuring the quality of work performed.
  • Updating the Yardi mobile app and communicating with the team about the status of ongoing projects.
