The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing work orders and scheduling mechanics based on the immediacy and necessity of tasks. This role involves monitoring all production areas to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and machinery. The supervisor will perform skilled maintenance activities such as construction, welding, brazing, soldering, plumbing, and hydraulics. Adjusting, repairing, and replacing electrical and electronic equipment are also key duties. The position requires participation in the HAZMAT team for emergency preparedness and promoting safety in all maintenance aspects. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for completing required paperwork, such as payroll, and attending scheduled or called meetings.
