The Maintenance Supervisor will help implement and support day-to-day activities and coordinate all phases of the Maintenance Department to promote efficiency and cost control while reducing downtime in accordance with applicable Company and regulatory guidelines. This role involves driving safety and environmental compliance, leading safety metrics and training programs, investigating incidents, and initiating root cause corrective actions. The supervisor will also support, plan, and supervise Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) and repair programs, oversee the use of Megamation and L2L Software for tracking and reporting, and engage team members in collaborative problem-solving. Additionally, the position supports major maintenance and repair activities to achieve maximum unit availability within budgeted costs, provides training for maintenance personnel, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures. The role also involves taking an active role in quality initiatives like QS9000 and ISO14001, maintaining a clean work area, and participating in problem-solving methods. A key focus is reducing MTTR and MTBF, and completing projects on time. The supervisor will plan the annual July shutdown, perform budget reviews, and may need to work weekends to assist the maintenance team or support special projects. Good knowledge of paint shops, monitoring paint shop parameters, and understanding maintenance manuals and electrical diagrams is required. The position often confronts complex issues requiring careful analysis and diagnosis. Up to 10% travel may be needed.
