About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees day-to-day maintenance operations at Deep River Pointe in High Point, North Carolina. This role performs and coordinates repairs, helps ensure apartment homes are move-in ready and maintained to company standards, and responds promptly and professionally to resident service requests. The supervisor supports preventive maintenance and inspections, prioritizes work orders, and contributes to the community’s appearance, safety, and overall success. The position participates in an on-call rotation, including responding to after-hours emergencies as needed, and requires availability for weekend work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
- EPA/HVAC Certification required.
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification required.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Availability for on-call responsibilities, after-hours emergencies, and weekend work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community.
- Troubleshoot and complete plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and general repair work.
- Ensure apartment homes are move-in ready and maintained to company standards.
- Respond to resident service requests with professionalism and urgency.
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs and property inspections.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
- Support the overall appearance, safety, and success of the community.
