About The Position

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join their Richman Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily repair and upkeep of properties, managing the preparation of vacant units, and ensuring timely response to service requests. The position also involves assisting with property cleanliness, interviewing and training maintenance staff, managing inventory, and ensuring OSHA standards are met. The Maintenance Supervisor will uphold customer service standards and contribute to the overall maintenance operations of apartment communities.

Requirements

  • EPA Section 608 Type I & II or EPA Universal Technician license
  • Minimum 4+ years of industry experience
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Superintendent, or Maintenance Technician II
  • Experience managing maintenance operations in apartment communities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Trade/technical school or industry-related courses preferred
  • Experience with Yardi software products a plus
  • CAMT and CPO certifications may be required within the first six (6) months of employment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Manage the preparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines
  • Assist in maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Interview, screen, and recommend candidates for maintenance technician or grounds personnel positions
  • Execute training of maintenance and grounds personnel
  • Manage scheduling and direct supervision of all in-house and/or vendor work
  • Maintain supply and tool inventory; oversee ordering and delivery of necessary supplies and equipment
  • Assist in disciplinary or promotional recommendations for maintenance and grounds personnel
  • Ensure OSHA standards are met at all times and maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain logs and records; report unusual circumstances regarding the property
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards and seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
