Maintenance Supervisor II - Radford VA
About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor II will manage a maintenance shop of 15–20 mechanics, manage budgets, and present at a weekly meeting. The role owns the shop’s preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure government compliance. The supervisor will troubleshoot issues, introduce solutions, and strive for zero injuries while maintaining a safe working environment. The position is based onsite in Radford, Virginia. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance; no clearance is currently required. Travel is less than 10%, and relocation is not available.
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance background in mechanical work and supervision.
- Prior supervisory experience within maintenance and the experience necessary to direct a maintenance shop.
- Knowledge of managing and meeting budgets.
- Industrial maintenance skills, including the ability to troubleshoot in the field.
- Must be a U.S. person and U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
