About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor 3 supervises a multi-trade workforce in machine, assembly, and/or facility areas. The role requires technical knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, tooling, mechanical and electrical concepts, and safe industrial work practices. The supervisor works with senior management to analyze and solve issues, handles multiple projects, and uses analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to support effective work.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience required.
• Training in a skilled trades area or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts.
• Experience in machine, assembly, and/or facility areas.
• Knowledge of and ability to ensure a safe industrial work environment.
• Knowledge of basic math, including trigonometry.
• Knowledge of clerical work, data gathering, and machine studies.
• Experience supervising a multi-trade workforce.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
• Successful completion of behavior-based competency assessments measuring ability to learn, adaptability, initiative, motivational fit, decision making, results orientation, teamwork, empowerment, organization, and planning competencies (DDI inventories and assessments).
• High analytical ability for complex problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate, and elicit output.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes or other email communication tools.
• Ability to work well with others and exhibit teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
