About The Position
R+L Carriers is hiring a Maintenance Shop Foreman for its Canton, Massachusetts Service Center. The role performs preventative and day-to-day maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty tractors and forklifts, including major repairs on trucks and forklifts, and handles day-to-day administrative duties. Experience with trucks, forklifts, and dry van trailers is mandatory. PTO is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.
Requirements
- Truck, forklift, and dry van trailer experience is mandatory.
- Experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, lift-gates, and overhead door repair.
- Three to five years of experience maintaining and repairing tractor-trailers, including air brakes, clutches, diesel engines, lights, and electrical repairs.
- Must have own tools.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanic experience is a plus.
- Manager experience is a plus.
