About The Position
R+L Carriers is hiring a Maintenance Shop Foreman at its Troy, New York Service Center. The position performs preventative and day-to-day maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty tractors and forklifts, including major repairs to trucks and forklifts. It also includes day-to-day administrative duties. Truck, forklift, and dry van trailer experience is mandatory. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PTO is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.
Requirements
- Experience with trucks, forklifts, and dry van trailers is mandatory.
- Experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, lift-gates, and overhead door repair.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing tractor-trailers, including air brakes, clutches, diesel engines, lights, and electrical repairs.
- Must have own tools.
