Requirements
- Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
- Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Able to perform essential job functions.
- Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
- Complete the application, including all supplemental questions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outdoor areas by mowing, seeding, pruning, and removing debris or snow
- Build and repair forms, walls, ceilings, cabinets, and other structural components
- Prepare surfaces and apply paints or varnishes to maintain clean and safe conditions
- Replace switches, receptacles, wiring, and related components throughout the facility
- Open clogged drains, install fixtures, and repair water and heat systems
- Complete required training and follow procedures for asbestos, confined spaces, and equipment lockout
