Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. The Compression Systems Engineering Team has an opening for a Senior MRO Engineer with a specialty in aerospace work. This position will be part of the Tinker AFB Engine Life Management Team (ELMT) supporting the Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs) responsible for Military Fan and High Compressor hardware. As a MRO Engineer you be an integral part of this Team supporting the engine overhaul process. This position is a key role within the CIPT as it provides a direct engineering link with our domestic and foreign military customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in Engineering OR Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrated leadership skills; direct supervisory experience is a plus
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills and the ability to function across a wide range of disciplines and management levels.
Responsibilities
- Work as an onsite MRO-E representative of the CIPT supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
- Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, Component Improvement Program (CIP) and repair tasks activities.
- Provide assistance to Customer Support Engineering (CSE) and base personnel with field support, quality issues and logistics planning.
