About The Position

Pratt & Whitney’s Compression Systems Engineering Team is hiring a Senior MRO Engineer specializing in aerospace work. The role is part of the Tinker AFB Engine Life Management Team, supporting Component Integrated Product Teams responsible for military fan and high-compressor hardware. The engineer supports the engine overhaul process and serves as a direct engineering link with domestic and foreign military customers. The position is classified as onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the program or contract. No security clearance is required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree and at least 3 years of experience.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
Demonstrated leadership skills; direct supervisory experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across a wide range of disciplines and management levels.

Responsibilities

Work onsite as an MRO-E representative of the Component Integrated Product Team, supporting engine and hardware investigations and dispositions.
Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, Component Improvement Program activities, and repair tasks.
Assist Customer Support Engineering and base personnel with field support, quality issues, and logistics planning.
