About The Position

CMC, an Associa company, is hiring a Maintenance Porter for its condominium community in Washington, DC. The role is responsible for maintaining clean building areas, including floors, restrooms, break areas, furniture, fixtures, windows, and other assigned areas. Duties also include replenishing restroom supplies, handling trash and recyclables, providing light floor care, and setting up for special events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrate attention to detail and follow-up, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Proactive approach, initiative, and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas, including furniture, telephones, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds, and vents.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, restrooms, and break areas.
• Clean restroom facilities and replenish supplies.
• Perform general cleaning, light floor care, and special event setups.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
