About The Position

Cafaro is seeking motivated, self-driven Maintenance Personnel to join the Eastwood Mall maintenance team. The role includes maintenance, housekeeping, and janitorial duties to keep the mall clean, safe, and well-maintained for customers and staff. Duties include routine cleaning and upkeep of common areas, restrooms, and public spaces; minor repairs and maintenance; landscaping; painting; snow and ice removal; and seasonal tasks. The ideal candidate has attention to detail, a strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment. Employees work alongside team members to meet the organization’s goals. Requirements

Responsibilities

Landscape interior and exterior areas, including cutting grass, controlling weeds, and trimming trees and hedges.
Perform painting, including touch-ups and full repaints, as needed.
Clean and maintain public restrooms so they are sanitary, stocked, and presentable.
Shovel and remove snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and parking areas, and apply melting agents as needed.
Perform repairs and maintenance, including roof, plumbing, and electrical tasks, as directed.
Replace light bulbs, lenses, and ceiling tiles as necessary.
Assist with seasonal tasks, such as setting up seasonal décor and preparing the property for changing weather conditions.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols, participate in safety training, and report hazards or unsafe conditions.
Communicate with supervisors and team members and cooperate to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly store and maintain tools and equipment.
Support and encourage safe work practices among peers.
Adapt to changing tasks and priorities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
