About The Position

Shellstone at Waterside in Sarasota, Florida, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Personnel associate. The role provides daily repair and maintenance services throughout the operation, including offices, public spaces, restrooms, grounds, and other areas. The position is part of Troon, a golf, hospitality, and community management company.

Requirements

• Less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties, including communicating with English-speaking customers or coworkers and using equipment manuals written in English.
• No certifications or licenses are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the operation, including work on electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of buildings and grounds.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas by emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of interior areas by emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identify and report to a supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
