About The Position

Shellstone at Waterside in Sarasota, Florida, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Personnel team member to provide daily repair and maintenance services throughout the operation, including offices, public spaces, restrooms, grounds, and other areas. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of indoor and outdoor facility areas and reporting needed supplies to a supervisor. No certifications or licenses are required. The position is part of Troon, a professional club management company specializing in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.

Requirements

• Less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties and communicate with English-speaking customers or coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across the operation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of buildings and grounds.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas, including emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of interior areas, including emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identify and report to a supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
