About The Position
As a Maintenance Person, you will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and basic upkeep throughout the property. You will help ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional hotel environment for guests and team members. The position is part-time at the Courtyard San Diego Del Mar Solana Beach in Solana Beach, California, with a swing shift and an hourly pay range of $20.00–$20.25.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance or building repair experience is preferred.
- General knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.
- Ability to lift, move, climb, and work with tools and equipment.
- Good communication and a team-player attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely.
- Ability to work any shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms and public areas.
- Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
- Maintain tools, storage areas, and workspaces in a clean and organized condition.
- Support the maintenance team with projects and assigned duties.
- Follow all safety and hotel maintenance standards.
