About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Mechanical Parts Inventory Clerk to join our Maintenance team in Alma. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance department by managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and supporting technicians with the parts they need.

Requirements

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Valid KS Driver License is required
Able to or willing to learn to operate forklifts
Comfortable working in industrial environments
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for a work visa.
Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in inventory or maintenance support is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform regular counts of spare parts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Enter data into work orders, including time and personnel, and maintain organized filing for audits and reviews.
Distribute parts to technicians and supervisors, and complete pick tickets for planned maintenance.
Verify incoming shipments, store parts appropriately, and submit packing slips for system entry.
Conduct daily inspections of industrial waste storage to ensure compliance and safety.
Drive company provided vehicle to pick up critical parts during downtime situations.
Closing work orders in EAM
Booking Labor hours to work orders
Generating KPI reports
