About The Position

The Production Clerk actively supports the Production Operations department with daily administration support, detailing daily production volume by line, downtime and efficiencies. He/she works closely with the plant department management teams to ensure the accurate and efficient production demand planning and finished goods inventories.

Requirements

High school diploma, or equivalent.
Two-years strong administrative experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
Strong MS Excel skills required.
Experience with 10-key, fax, scanning
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, in a fast paced environment.
Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.

Nice To Haves

SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete accurate production reports.
By production line, record daily production volume and product activity.
By production line, validate OEE in support of daily and weekly production plan.
Report downtime activity by line.
In concert with the Department Manager, prepare weekly and monthly production reports to report operational efficiencies (volume produced by SKU/type, downtime, OEE, labor (REG/OT).
Support internal and external audits.
Perform typical administrative duties, filing, faxing, scanning, emailing, report writing, and other clerical duties.
Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.
Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.
Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.
Other duties as required by management.
