About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic helps keep warehouse equipment and machinery operating properly by troubleshooting and repairing equipment and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of warehouse systems. The role supports conveyor systems, climate control systems, and other equipment, and works closely with a team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

This is a third-shift role at the Indy North location in Indianapolis, Indiana. The shift runs from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $22.50 to $24.50 per hour depending on experience, plus a $1.50-per-hour third-shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor systems and components, Shanklin wrappers, and pallet stretch wrappers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, and twist throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.
