About The Position
At NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, the Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of engineering and plant maintenance functions to support efficient operation of the physical plant, hospital campus, and off-site locations. This is a full-time, on-site position at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, New York, working Monday through Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related mechanical and electrical experience.
- Ability to transport equipment of varying sizes and weights throughout the facility and hospital campus.
- Ability to work throughout the entire facility and operate equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and competence in the area of practice.
- Clean and valid New York State driver's license.
- Ability to communicate effectively and take direction and supervision.
- Awareness of the responsibilities involved in maintaining and servicing the physical plant.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital staff, visitors, and outside agencies.
