About The Position

This position is in the Nacogdoches Maintenance Department. Primarily responsible for providing mechanical/electrical breakdown or troubleshooting services and/or any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Texas State Journeyman’s Electrical License or equivalent is a plus. Computer and mechanical experience required. A history of good attendance and a positive attitude are required. This position also requires the employee to work with minimal supervision and the ability to work under pressure. Understanding of and experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, and a strong focus on working safely is a must. A minimum of 40 hours / week is required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping activities
• Daily safety checks for unsafe acts and conditions
• Work closely with production associates and supervision to fill their needs to accomplish highest production efficiency
• Make repairs on all equipment within the plant.
• Fill in as breakdown technician in any department as needed
• Promote lean manufacturing in all processes.
• Any other assigned duties as specified by supervisor
