Maintenance Mechanic - Multiple Levels Based on Experience
About The Position
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to be a vital part of our team, ensuring peak performance of our plant and facility equipment. From diagnosing and repairing to installing and modifying, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our operations at their best. This role involves installing, diagnosing, analyzing, maintaining, modifying, repairing, and/or rebuilding a variety of plant and facility equipment. It also includes performing preventive maintenance tasks, assisting production personnel in change-overs and set-ups, and dismantling defective machines and equipment.
Requirements
- Three (3) years’ experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training
- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, with a solid understanding of repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.
- Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature and pressure gauges
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair and/or rebuild a variety of plant and facility equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently
- Assist production personnel in change-over and set-ups
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas or to install new or repaired parts
