Machine Operator - Multiple Levels Based on Experience
About The Position
Dart Container is hiring Machine Operators to support production using high-speed process equipment. Operators assist with equipment setup, startup, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and shutdown, and help manage process machinery from raw materials through downstream finished goods. The role also involves maintaining production logs and reports and completing production processes in SAP as required. The available shift is 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a $2-per-hour shift premium for overnight work. The advertised base pay is $21 per hour. The position offers opportunities for pay increases and advancement.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic problems, including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Math skills including simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Minimum proficiency in English sufficient for effective new-hire training and ongoing communication about safety and quality issues.
