Ventek operates 9 plants in the US and Mexico with corporate headquarters in Charleston, SC. This position is located in Shelbyville, KY. Candidates should be local, no relocation assistance is provided.

Requirements

  • Experience in an industrial environment, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and/or installing manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic equipment.
  • Cat 2 Electrical
  • 3 years experience with PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley 5000 series, Siemens, and Omron.
  • Minimum (3) years industrial maintenance experience required.
  • 2 years experience with Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
  • Must be able to read and or understand written and verbal policy, instruction and directions in English.
  • Must have 480 volt and 3 phase electric experience.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial and motor controls.
  • Must be certified on Material handler including scissor lift.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Must be able to kneel, bend and twist while working.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Machine shop/fabrication experience

Responsibilities

  • Performing all duties in support of Ventek’s quality and safety policies.
  • Installing and maintaining auxiliary equipment as required by production
  • Maintaining and repairing utility and facility-related equipment as directed by the Plant Engineer.
  • Assisting/training other maintenance personnel with repairs, PM’s, and rebuilds.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments and teams for proactive problem resolutions.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.
  • Manage small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.
