About The Position

Medxcel is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II for the Facilities department at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. The role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment in assigned facilities. It may include complex assignments involving multiple systems or cross-departmental coordination. The position requires specialized knowledge in locksmithing, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Requirements

• One of the following: graduation from trade school with 2 years of experience; 4 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
• Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmithing, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and equipment for assigned facilities.
• Complete complex assignments involving multiple systems or interaction across departments.
• Repair heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems and equipment.
• Install and maintain motors and specialized equipment.
