About The Position

Medxcel is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II for the Facilities Department at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This full-time, day-shift role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment at assigned facilities. The mechanic may handle more complex assignments involving multiple systems or cross-departmental coordination. Specialized knowledge of locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems is required to perform a variety of duties, including repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems and equipment, as well as installing and maintaining motors and specialized equipment.

Requirements

• Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Meet one of the following qualification paths: graduate of a trade school with 2 years of experience; 4 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment at assigned facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
• Complete complex assignments that may involve multiple systems or interaction across departments.
• Repair heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems and equipment.
• Install and maintain motors and specialized equipment.
