About The Position

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment installations to support facility and production operations. Execute preventive maintenance activities and respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner to minimize operational disruptions and maximize equipment reliability.

Requirements

  • Vocational diploma or certifications in maintenance, technical engineering, or related discipline (pre-university level) preferred.
  • Experience required in forklift operation and tasks related to Facility maintenance such as pipefitting, welding, electrical and controls, and general equipment repair.
  • 4–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, pharmaceutical, food production, or facility operations environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory, pilot plant, and facility related equipment to maximize the lifespan of assets.
  • Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and related equipment.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation, controls, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs, including building, plumbing, and general infrastructure support to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility and production equipment, proactively identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues.
  • Identify equipment or process deviations and document findings in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and standards, including GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and company safety policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Maintain housekeeping, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
  • Create, update, and close work orders using the computerized maintenance management system (SAP).
  • Participate in the department's on-call rotation as required.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
