About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic I works directly with Maintenance Mechanic II or III employees on complex repairs and installations. The role reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to complete maintenance and service, diagnoses equipment problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests equipment, and makes adjustments. This is a full-time position with an estimated 30–40 hours per week; actual hours may vary based on business needs. The compensation target is $23.00–$27.00.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 3–7 years of maintenance experience.
Basic mathematics skills and ability to read and use a tape measure, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and feeler gauges.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and address problems encountered in varied situations.
Ability to communicate clearly in simple written and verbal sentences.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques used in an industrial or warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

Technical schooling or a skilled-trades apprenticeship is preferred.
MIG, stick, or TIG welding capability is beneficial but not required.
