About The Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain and repair production equipment, including but not limited to: welders and grinders, cranes Repairs broken parts using hand tools and welding equipment properly in compliance with Company’s safety policies and procedures Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose problems Complete work orders as assigned Complete installation of new equipment and provide other areas of improvement in line with facility’s maintenance plans MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Maintains a clean work environment All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year Technical Degree in Maintenance field or vocational certificate/training.
• Knowledge of mechanical skills.
• Skills in welding and cutting.
• Ability to make decisions and reason.
• Ability to plan and schedule.
• Ability to speak, understand, and read English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

• QEW certification.
