About The Position

Maintenance Laborers maintain the grounds and general condition of the maintenance facility. Duties may include custodial work in offices and maintenance shops, assistance with other lines of business as needed, and related projects. The role requires safe operation and upkeep of tools and equipment, general housekeeping, minor repairs, and professional interaction with internal and external customers. The position does not manage employees.

Requirements

Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Safety-focused mindset.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license, if applicable.
Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Ability to travel between offices as required.
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical aptitude.
Experience working with various hand tools and equipment.
Previous CDL driving experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain facility grounds and surrounding areas, including shop cleaning, oil-spill cleanup during road calls, parts pickup, and general housekeeping.
Operate handheld manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools and equipment.
Maintain assigned equipment and tools in safe operating condition in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
Pressure-wash and perform minor repairs to shop tools, bins, and containers, as well as other shop-based tasks.
Drive safely while transporting, loading, and unloading shop supplies, parts, and tools.
Assist with general housekeeping of maintenance shops and offices.
Perform minor repairs and general upkeep of the maintenance facility.
Clean, prepare, and paint containers as needed.
Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Assist with various lines of business, projects, or areas as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
