About The Position

As a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, the Maintenance Journey Person maintains facility and production equipment to support production of high-quality products. The role includes installation, ongoing maintenance, and repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. It is part of the Dairy Food business, which creates dairy products.

Requirements

Possess a Journeyman's card in an applicable field.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience.
Have basic computer and math skills.
Be able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals.
Be willing to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
Have strong collaboration and communication skills and demonstrate respect.

Nice To Haves

1 to 3+ years’ experience with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.
LOTO experience.
Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices by self and others.
Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
Monitor plant machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Perform regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, testing, troubleshooting, and inspections on machinery and equipment, and document work.
Ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
Multitask and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
