About The Position

The Maintenance Inventory Specialist is responsible for coordinating inventory processes to ensure inventory accuracy and support maintenance operations across the facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining spare parts availability, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through Keurig Dr Pepper's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) framework. This position also supports maintenance and engineering activities, including rebuilding machine assemblies, spare part rebuilds, emergency maintenance efforts, and special engineering projects. The Maintenance Inventory Specialist must actively support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards and have the authority to initiate corrective action when necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar inventory, maintenance, or storeroom role.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP or a comparable CMMS system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage maintenance inventory data within SAP and MRP systems.
  • Review inventory minimum and maximum levels and generate purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and report inventory accuracy results.
  • Support maintenance technicians by identifying, locating, and issuing parts.
  • Develop and maintain resources that support preventative maintenance activities.
  • Manage maintenance department shipping and receiving activities.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers between KDP facilities and track off-site and consignment inventory.
  • Partner with existing and prospective suppliers to support inventory needs.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Inventory Control teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SOX controls.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel to identify obsolete, low-usage, non-economical, and excess inventory items.
  • Analyze parts usage data to identify recurring equipment failures and repair trends.
  • Organize and optimize inventory storage locations to improve efficiency and accessibility for maintenance technicians.
  • Assist with rebuilding mechanical components and perform other duties as assigned by maintenance leadership.
